Ophthalmologists at Saint-Sacrement Hospital in Quebec implanted, for the first time in Canada, an innovative telescopic lens in the eye of a patient with macular degeneration. CentraSight is a new treatment program utilizing a telescope prosthesis that is implanted inside the eye to improve vision and quality of life for patients with the most advanced form of macular degeneration: End-Stage AMD.
