Job description:

  • Create marketing, promotional and website content on daily and weekly bases
  • Develop marketing strategies in order to attract potential customers, retain existing ones and create Salient brand awareness
  • Maintain updated marketing material stock for every device or product (online and offline)
  • Educate and support the customer with marketing strategies including but not limited to digital program development, internal office branding and external marketing strategies
  • Develop and upkeep a social media content, calendar, planning and scheduling posts
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to proactively respond to their needs and requests
  • Collaborate with Inside sales on maintaining the list of leads and enter them into the CRM
  • Collaborate with shipping department to ensure prompt shipping of marketing material

Skills Desired:

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe
  • 1 or more years of hands-on Marketing experience
  • 2 or more years of experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in using WordPress, MailChimp, Social Media
  • Basic experience of HTML required, Facebook Ads and Google Ads
  • Extremely organized self-starter, with sound time-management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent professional and communication skills – written and verbal
  • Able to effectively communicate relevant project information to senior leadership, peers and vendors clearly, concisely and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Inclined to take ownership of a project and follow through to completion
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Able to prioritize workloads
  • Experience with Salesforce, Vertical Response is a plus
  • Bilingual French/English an asset
